For the first time ever, Group Acupuncture sessions will be offered at regularly scheduled times at The Lotus Center.  During these times our classroom will be set up to treat several patients at once.  There are many benefits to group acupuncture including the flexible “drop in” hours and reduced rate, allowing for more frequent visits if needed. This type of visit is gaining popularity in the US and has been used for some time in China. We’re excited to offer this service to the community.

What is a Group Acupuncture?

During a group acupuncture session;

• Patients are seen in a drop in, first come first served basis the cost is $45.00.
• Your treatment takes place in a group setting, with little or no discussion of health history.
• Patients relax seated in a chair as opposed to lying down on a massage table.
• Treatments are limited to only one simple health issue at a time; such as one area of pain or one functional complaint like stress, smoking, or insomnia.
• Herbal formulas are not available

This appointment is appropriate for the patient who is:

• Comfortable being treated in a group setting.
• Only wants one specific health issue addressed.
• Seeking acupuncture for smoking cessation, stress reduction or for relaxation purposes.
• Interested in experiencing acupuncture with a friend or relative.
